I graduated college top 10% with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts from The Art Institute in my hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I spent five years at Marriott Harbor Beach Florida gaining valuable experience in several departments within the resort such as baking in the pastry department, cooking in fine and casual dining restaurants as well as working in banquets department for large extravagant weddings and company catering events.
I married my husband who is an active duty marine and traveled the states with him working on military bases as a Food Production Manager feeding our servicemen Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
I am an avid foodie (food lover) and I enjoy creating meals from scratch, using the whole fresh and clean ingredients. I am excited to help nurture and grow our future chefs of Heartwood
