Laura Salerno

In 2017, Mrs. Salerno graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She began by teaching 4th grade in Beaufort County for four years. She then found her passion for science and became the science lab teacher. Throughout her last 8 years of teaching she has continued her education and became certified in gifted and talented, ESOL, read to succeed literacy teacher, and is LETRS trained.

Mrs. Salerno lives in the area with her husband, Tyler, and son, Luke. In her free time she enjoys going on walks on nature trails, kayaking in our beautiful waterways, and relaxing in the warm sun at the beach. She also enjoys reading books by the pool, playing with Luke, and finding new restaurants to visit with her family.
