Jennifer Brown

My name is Jennifer Brown, Principal of Heartwood and I am thrilled to be a dedicated educator with a passion for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. I have been married to my husband Michael for 18 years, and we have two wonderful daughters, Liligrace (17) and Madeline (14). With 18 years of experience in public education and a recent transition to a leadership role in South Carolina, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to fostering academic excellence and personal growth.

Throughout my career, I have focused on building strong relationships with students, staff, and families, believing that collaboration and communication are key to a successful educational journey. My approach centers on the belief that every child has unique strengths and potential, and it is our role as educators to nurture and develop these qualities.
