Curneisha Williams

Director of New Teacher Development

Curneisha started her career in Teach for America as an Algebra III and AP Calculus educator in the Mississippi Delta. During this time, she was a cheerleading coach and received commendations for Highest District Proficiency multiple semesters in a row. After her time in the classroom, Ms. Williams spent time helping C-suite DEI executives develop; her secondary focus was on increasing Black CEO positions. Before coming to Heartwood, Curneisha received her M.ED from Harvard University. She's excited to be back in a school setting, helping teachers grow & develop.

Outside of school, Curneisha LOVES to travel. She's been to over 15 countries & provinces!
