Teaching Fellow

I earned my teaching license in Oregon in 2003 and spent seven years teaching across multiple elementary grade levels. I then served with Young Life for over a decade—10 years in Germany working closely with international school communities, and four years in Hilton Head. I recently returned to the classroom, where I love using children’s natural curiosity and sense of play to create joyful, engaging learning experiences.

I’m married and have a daughter who’s about to start high school. I love hiking, being outdoors, and building furniture in my spare time. Traveling and experiencing new cultures is one of my favorite ways to learn and connect with the world.
